We know that starting a new dance class can feel both exciting and a little nerve-wracking for new dancers (and parents!). To help you feel fully prepared for your first class, we’ve put together some of the most common questions asked when joining us.

Absolutely!
We offer a free trial class for all new students so they can experience the class and make sure it’s the right fit before signing up. -
For the first lesson, your child can wear anything comfortable that they can move in, such as cycling shorts or leggings with a t-shirt.
If they’re trialling tap or ballet, we may have some second-hand shoes available to borrow (depending on size).
Once they decide to continue, we’ll provide details about the class uniform and where to purchase it. We also have a collection of preloved uniforms that may be available. -
There’s no set uniform for our adult classes. Comfortable, gym-style clothing that allows free movement is recommended.
Please wear appropriate footwear:Ballet or tap shoes for those styles
Bare feet, jazz shoes, trainers or ballet shoes for jazz (whichever you prefer)

Please bring a water bottle and ensure your child’s hair is neatly tied back to help them stay focused and safe.
Our Baby Ballet students are also welcome to bring along a teddy or dolly if they wish! -
Parents are asked not to enter the studio during class time, as this helps children settle in and build independence.
You’re welcome to wait in the small seating area outside the studio.
Each venue has a windowed door, allowing you to see into the hall if you’d like to check in. -

Once you’ve confirmed that the class is right for you or your child, just let us know. We’ll guide you through our simple registration process and get you set up for the term.

Payments are made up front termly, and we offer flexible options, including payment in three instalments.
Full details will be provided once you confirm your place. -
Rates vary based on class length and frequency. We offer discounts for multiple classes and/or family members.
You can view current class prices by clicking on a suitable class for your age or level on our website. -
Classes are paid upfront and missed classes cannot be refunded unless the school cancels the session.
If you wish to cancel your child’s place, we ask for half a term’s notice (5 term-time weeks). -
Yes, all of our venues have on-site parking available for parents and students.

Yes! We offer ISTD exams in Modern, Tap, Ballet and Jazz.
As students progress to higher grades, their exam achievements can earn UCAS points, a great benefit for future university applications. -
Classes are available for all ages, from toddlers (2.5+) to adults.
Students are grouped according to age and skill level. -
Not at all! We welcome complete beginners through to advanced dancers.
Our teachers will guide you and recommend the best class for your ability level. -
